SKJ Facilities Management provides permanent employment opportunities in the Southern Tier and many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years. Open Positions
Janitorial Worker
Responsibilities include cleaning offices and employee common areas – restrooms, breakrooms, entrance, hallways, etc.
Daily tasks include using provided chemicals, equipment and supplies to vacuum, sweep, mop, clean glass, empty trash, dust, polish fixtures and sanitize all surfaces in restrooms and kitchenettes. Stock and fill dispensers. Other tasks as assigned.
Worksites in Ithaca & Elmira-Corning, NY
15-30 hours per week.
Evenings
Pay rate based on qualifications and experience. Paid weekly.
Floor Care Tech
Responsibilities include providing floor care preventative maintenance – shampooing carpets, burnishing tile, scrubbing/stripping and waxing- as well as other assigned projects (cleaning windows, vents, light fixtures, etc.) and cleaning tasks. Prior floor care experience preferred.
Worksites in Ithaca & Elmira-Corning, NY
25 – 35 hours per week.
Evenings and some weekends.
Pay rate based on qualifications and experience. Paid weekly.
